Trust Me Child & You Are Faithful
and Good in All Things, October 23, 2015
TRUST ME CHILD
What shall we eat in the morning?
Where shall we go when we thirst?
How shall we cover our bodies
From the cold?
Trust Me, Child, in all your ways acknowledge Me,
Lean not on your own understanding.
Trust Me, Child, with all your heart,
And I will make a straighter path for you.
Consider the birds of the air,
Not a sparrow would fall to the ground.
I have lifted them high, as they joyfully fly,
Do they seem to have ever a care?
YOU ARE FAITHFUL AND GOOD IN ALL THINGS
You are faithful and good in all things
In providing for those who have loved
You give strength to the weary of heart
In the power that comes from Your
In the perils of the desert
You have set Your people free
and brought them home.
As the shepherd draws the flock
Now bring us nearer to Your Kingdom
Help us find our way back Home.
O Lord, Our God
As a hen who would gather her young,
You have called us to hide here beneath
And on bread, not alone shall we live
But upon every word that comes
