In my early like, when I was still a baby in my faith, I was told that being saved by the grace of God is enough. That if you would not believe this, you would be insulting Jesus Christ. I was told this by a Baptist man, who sincerely believed what he was saying. And I nearly fall for that.
I believed it, not knowing fully well the scriptures. So many deceived Christian believe that honoring HIM, having faith in Him, are sufficient. That by just looking at the bright side of things, all will be all right. All right materially may be, but not spiritually. You can be well versed on some section of the scriptures, but disregard the other books. This could lead you astray.
In Jesus' first coming, by the grace of God we were saved us from the deception of Satan through our first parents in their sin of disobedience. So, we have to take note of these words of God:
Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."Search the scriptures from beginning to end with the right version of the Bible. The Virgin Mary advised that we refer to the ones printed before 1965, like the King James Bible. The ones printed after this date is adulterated to suit the author's needs. If you will not take note of this and surf the different version, you might say that there are conflicting stories/doctrines. This led some people believe that the Bible was just made by man. This is one of the reasons why some turn to be an atheist, an unbeliever, or they are of the scientific mind, not believing what they have not seen, always proving their theories.
Dear ones, you cannot compare inanimate/animate things to spiritual things.That is why faith in God is believing in what you have not seen. You can only prove this when we cross the veil (face death) and it will be too late.
God is so merciful that it hurts Him so much to see His children join Satan in hell, a place meant for the fallen angels. He sent emissaries such as as pastors, prophets, ordinary/intellectual people who have died but given a second chance so that they could testify about the after life- the horror of hell and the wondrous beauty of heaven. People, old and the young dreamed and were given visions on the spiritual truths.
It so sad when people hardened their hearts to the truth. They choose to believe what is pleasurable, the fame and glory of this material world which is Satan's. Satan and his fallen angels are real. Their dark spirit is all around us.They do not want to be identified, otherwise, they could not deceive. But on the second coming of Jesus, His children will be raptured and the children of Satan (non-believers and lukewarm Christians will be left behind during which the hideous Satan and his demon cohorts will manifest.
At this point, the Holy Spirit of God will also depart. Asking for God's forgiveness and God's help will be too late.
So study the scriptures and ask the Holy Spirit to help you discern and be enlightened. Turn away from pride, hardheadedness, recognize our creator and follow HIS will no matter what!
