The sash around Jeremiah's waist is the symbol of God's desire for His people to cling to Him He can bless them with honor, praise and glory. But when they refuse His blessing and went after other gods, the sash becomes a symbol of their sin of pride.
"They refuse to repent of their sins so I judge them of famine, pestilence, death and captivity."
The sash was a symbol of blessing or cursing depending on their response.
The symbol you saw over the man's head you saw in a dream represent the curses in his life.The curses manifested as sickness and disease.
When the ministry couple prayed over the man, you saw the symbols of sickness and disease being erased. Each of those symbols over his head represent a sin. Some of the symbols were the result of his sin, and the other symbols represent generational sin passed down to him. When he repented of his own sin and the sin of his ancestors, the symbols were erased. Then new symbols formed over his head. The new symbols represent wholeness, healing, and deliverance that comes from Yeshua. The new symbols are a sign that who the Son sets free are free indeed.
And then the Holy Spirit continue with the message. "Tell My people they have a choice of which symbol they should have. One represents blessings, honor, praise and glory. And the other represent the curse of sin: sickness and disease." And He said repentance is the key to My blessing to remove the curses.
And He also continued on with the message when He said this: "Child, when you became born again, all of your sins were forgiven, but not the sins of your ancestors. You can repent in behalf of your ancestors' sin. A prayer of repentance removes the effects of the sins of your ancestors that were passed down to you.
"Sin is the open door to sickness. When the sins are repented of, the door is closed for the sickness and disease, Once the door is closed, ask for complete healing. Ask in faith without doubting and it will be done. If you ask Me for healing, I will give you healing."
There's also a generational curse of poverty passed down from one generation to the next. This can be broken through the prayer of repentance also.
"If you ask Me for finance and your motives are pure, then I will bless you with finances."

Ask Me for the spirit of repentance to fill you, then read the prayer of repentance that I gave you from Daniel Chapter 9. You will be gripped with anguish and remorse. Repentance is the key to erasing generational sin that has resulted in sickness and disease."

Prayer of Repentance for Generational Sin
Daniel Chapter 9
I set my face toward You O Precious Yahweh to make my prayer request and supplications with fasting. I pray to You O Yahweh, my Elohim, and make confession on behalf of myself, my parents, my grandparents and my entire family lineage. O Yahweh, great and awesome Elohim, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. Neither have we heeded Your servants the prophets, or Your Son Yahshua who spoke in Your name and their words were recorded in the Bible. O Yahweh, righteousness belongs to You, but shame of face belongs to us and to all the ancestors of my lineage, even to those near and those far off in countries whom I have descended from. We have sinned because of the unfaithfulness which we have committed against You. O Yahweh, to us belongs shame of face, to our presidents, our congressman, our senators, our judges and our ancestors because we have sinned against You. To You, O Yahweh our Elohim, belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against You. We have not obeyed the voice of Yahweh, to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants the prophets and by His Son Yahshua. Yes, we all have transgressed Your law at some point in our lives and have departed so as not to obey Your voice.
Therefore this generational curse and the oath written in the Law of Moses the servant of Yahweh has been poured out on us, because we have sinned against You. Yahweh has confirmed His words, which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by allowing this great disaster of this generational curse As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster of these generational curses has come upon us; yet we have not made our prayer before Yahweh that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth. Therefore the Lord has kept the disaster of these generational curses in mind, and permitted them because of our sin ; for Yahweh is righteous in all the works which He does, though we have not obeyed His voice. And now, O Yahweh, who delivered Your people out of the bondage of sin through the sacrifice of Your Son Yahshua, we admit that we have sinned, we have done wickedly! O Yahweh, according to all Your righteousness, I pray, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from me and my family lineage because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our forefathers. Now therefore, Yahweh, hear the prayer of Your servant, and my supplications, and for Yahshua’s sake cause Your face to shine upon Your sanctuary, which is my body, the temple Your Holy Spirit. My precious Yahshua incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see; heal and deliver us from the generational diseases in me and my family lineage; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. O Yahweh, hear! O Yahshua, forgive! O Yahweh and Yahshua, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, for Your people are called by Your name.
