A life of wealth and leisure, without God in one’s heart makes life empty. There is no satisfaction in what we do, so we tend to do things that are considered not normal and violate the law of God, and the law of man.
The ten commandments of God is summarized to: “Love God with all your heart, with all your mind and love your neighbor as you love yourself. The other sins are summed up in acronym PALEGAS: harboring pride, avarice, lust, envy, greed, anger, sloth. They are called the capital sins.
Without love for God, it is difficult to love your neighbor. But some rationalize that “as long as they do not harm other people, they don’t need God. They say that they prosper without God. But for how long? God’s justice will come down.
What is the violation? Love God.
A sin generates other sin/s. This was what happened to King David until he repented.
As in the case of of the Saudi prince, he allegedly had a sexual relation with his aide. God forbids lying with another person of the same sex. So, this sin led to murder of the prince’s aide.
