Ghost
I heard of stories and watched TV programs on ghosts/elemental s guarding the area supposedly lakes, mountains, houses from unwanted human visitors.
In the late 70's we visited friends in Lubo, Batangas. Later in the night, someone from a group of high school students who went on sea night swimming drowned. They said that the student died because he was taken by an elemental. And that this is not the first time it happened.
Same is of the same belief on lake Taal. Many died under mysterious circumstances, by the elemental s protecting the lake of Taal. (famous for its volcano which was reported to have the most number of eruptions.
A TV program documented fearless people who wanted to witness the appearance of the elements. Complete with cameras, they had gone ahead with their documentation during nighttime.. When they were in the area in question, they had goose pimples which is an indication of the presence of the dark forces. They reported seeing images of a dead boy, a white lady, and dark shadows of unknown entities.
My son who was high school then, had an expedition to Taal volcano as part of their science assignment. On the way to the Tall volcano by boat, everything went smoothly. On the way back in the late afternoon, nearing the seashore, the motorized boat stalled, it was raining. Their boat was driven away from seashore by wave/wind. The girls were already crying, it seemed a hopeless situation. They could not call for help from land because there was no cellphone yet.
Before my son left for Taal, I instructed him that in case of danger, don't call on me, but call for Jesus' help. He remembered that, so silently he prayed. After this, the boat's engine worked. They could not explain what happened.
Ghosts are the work of the devil. They copy the image of human or animal to deceive a person.
2 Corinthians 11:14-15, demons masquerade as “angels of light” and as “servants of righteousness.” Appearing as a “ghost” and impersonating a deceased human being definitely seem to be within the power and abilities that demons possess.(Source: Got Questions.org)Even ghost busters are proliferating. They are ignorant of the law of God about ghosts and its haunting:
Leviticus 19:31 “Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.

Hebrews 9:27 declares, “Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.”
Mark 5:1-20. A legion of demons possessed a man and used the man to haunt a graveyard. There were no ghosts involved. It was a case of a normal person being controlled by demons to terrorize the people of that area. Demons only seek to “kill, steal, and destroy” (John 10:10). They will do anything within their power to deceive people, to lead people away from God. This is very likely the explanation of “ghostly” activity today. Elves or "duwende"
Some say that there are white elves and black elves. That white elves are the good ones and they befriend them. The black ones are evil True, they manifest on people who believe in them.
"Aswang" or the local vampire
Many believe in "aswang", allegedly they have seen them and had a bad experience with them, the vampire targets pregnant women because they could smell their fragrant blood.
They drink the blood of the victims for more power. They can change into an animal to escape capture.
"Mangkukulam" or sorcerers
The sorcerers get paid by people who want to harm their enemies by use of dolls and other gadgets. Or by enchanting a person to fall for somebody.

Belief in the amulet
Amulet is a lure of the devil to get followers. There are reported cases of people evading capture or they don't get hit by bullet or any arm.

To be ready for the second coming of Jesus, get rid of the beliefs, practices, amulets, that make us unclean in the sight of the Father in Heaven. Repent, forgive your enemies and do the will of the Father known as Jesus, Yahweh, Jehovah, and the Holy Spirit: the Holy One!
