The Fallen 44 - Vengeance is Mine

What happened to the 44 members of the elite Philippine National Police Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) is tragic. I grieve with their families: the father, mother, daughter/son, wife.

Their intent was to capture a terrorist sowing great fear to the citizenry of Mindanao, threat of which is exponential because he is/was teaching  other or would be terrorists on how to make a strong bomb.

But was there a conspiracy/treachery in the operation? Or was there a lapse in coordination with the people who were supposed to be in the know? Only God knows, literally!

On the side of the SAF, did you rely mainly on your expertise forgetting the guidance of the Almighty? You have to ask Him, always!

Psalms 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Psalms 33:20-22  "Our soul waits for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you."
Bible verses from Christian Post
Ephesians 6:13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
Timothy 2:4 No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier. ( verse from Bible Knowing Jesus)

Advice to all peacekeepers: If you follow the will of the Father, you can be more than conquerors, according to this promise:

Romans 8:31 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

To the grieving family members of the fallen SAF, "ipasa DIYOS natin ang lahat. God allows things to happen for a reason.

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
