Before Bro. Jun Banaag (Dr. Love) left for the Eastern Europe pilgrimage, he got a call from a woman with two children from two different men she lived with. The first was married, and the next was her former boyfriend. She separated from both. And she is contemplating in getting into another relationship, without the blessing of marriage.
Dr. Love’s advice: Don’t lose your dignity by living in. If the man loves you, he would offer marriage. Going into another relationship would mean another child, and this would mean she’d have “international children”
A week before this call, there was a call from a woman who was sobbing , thinking f ending her life because of financial problems. She works but not sufficient to take care of the needs of her three children, Her child’s gum was bleeding, and the other child was vomiting. Her husband also works, but brings home very little money because of gambling.
She was ready ta take her life because she was holding several sleeping pills.
She was given hope by Dr. Love, he and listeners of Dr. Love responded by bringing in to the station financial help. What is notable is the resonse of Dr. Elmer Punzalan, the assistant secretary of the Dept. of Health of the Philippines. He always respnse to Dr. Love’s call for hospitalization of the need, free of charge of mecial services plus the medicine.With the help of the saff of DZMM and the executive producer of Dr. Love, the family was fetched and brought to the Labor Hospital where they were met by Dr. Punzalan and other doctors of the hospital. Very heartening was the response of the taxi drivers who are listeners of Dr. Love who went to the hospital and gave whatever amount they could contribute for the family.
Dr. Love gets the admiration of families because of his spiritual advice. he also gets the ire of the men who are leading a questionable life.
Because of the race to earn more money, many parents lack the time to nourish their children spiritually. Morality has gone done, the young and not so young resort to living in, rationalizing that it is easier to get out if the marriage does not work.
A union that is not blessed by God would not succeed. Dark forces would be at home contaminating even the children.
