I watch beauty pageants. I feel that I can connect with the world through the beauty contests, learning about their cultures and the physical beauty and the intellectual capabilities of the representatives. Each country is proud of their contestant. Each representative may be different from the other. One may embrace the “new norms” , others stick to their countries “norms”. Like in some countries they go swimming in the nude or go topless in the beach, others frown on this.
I was surprised by the photo shoot by Donald Trump of the contestants baring their top.
He is saying that they are not forced to do the nude photo shoot.
Yes, they are not forced but the fact that it was an instruction from Donald Trump, wasn’t there a feeling of pressure?

''We are in a different age. They are a little bit sexy, but I'll tell you what - everybody's watching so I have nothing against it. The Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant just got renewed for three years by NBC. The ratings have been terrific. If you look at Miss America, it's now off-network television - and we're doing better than ever, so I really have no problem with it,'' Trump said.
Trump also stressed that the candidates were not forced to pose topless and could choose to pose on a conservative manner.
A representive of the Miss Universe Organization also said that nudity was not an issue for many of the countries represented by the pageant.
''The contestants who compete at Miss Universe are diverse as they represent more than 82 countries around the globe. Many of their cultures embrace nudity,'' the rep said in a statement.
Mark 7:21-22 says:
For from within, out of man's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, envy, slander, arrogance and folly...The more we are accountable to God if we promote lewdness, sexual immorality and the other sins mentioned above.
