Halloween (or Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday observed on October 31, primarily in Canada, Ireland, the United States and the United Kingdom. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holiday All Saints' Day, but is today largely a secular celebration.

This activity may be associated with the "witching hour"
In European folklore, the witching hour is the time when supernatural creatures such as witches, demons and ghosts are thought to be at their most powerful, and black magic at its most effective. This hour is typically midnight, and the term may now be used to refer to 3am -6am, or any late hour, even without having the associated superstitious beliefs. The term "witching hour" can also refer to the period from midnight to 3am, while "devil's hour" refers to the time around 3am. In the Philippines, the Halloween party is very popular to the young. But during my time, I never had the opportunity to join this type of party. And I was scared of the costumes of devils and witches and costumes in horror movies. Simply watching horror movies, it gives me the jitters. My son would tease me and say: "imagine you are in the set and think that they are normal people." Even with this advice, I would have nightmares after watching the movie.
During the party, all sorts of ornaments are worn, some to make them look like a witch . We are opening ourselves to the spirits. I consider this as a practice in the occult, which is very dangerous.

By decorating our houses and churches we proclaim that we too are devotees of Lucifer.
Now, you may say that they are just innocent activities that have no meaning, but that’s not what God says. When you read the Old Testament, you’ll find that rituals DO have meaning – and power.
