LUST and its Punishment

Lust
1. is a strong craving for sex. It also can mean a hunger for anything, like lust for power.

2. self-indulgent sexual desire (personified as one of the deadly sins)

If a child is exposed to porn materials at a very young age, his curiosity is awaken, not knowing that sex, other than its purpose  of procreation, his mind will be inhabited by the demons urging the child to ask for more and never get satisfaction. He is hooked into pornography, and it would be difficult to get out of it. It is only Jesus who can help him. Guided by the parents, he has to beg for mercy, ask for forgiveness to be freed from the dark forces of evil.

Bible verses on LUST

Job 31:11-12  "For lust is a shameful sin, a crime that should be punished. It is a devastating fire that destroys to hell. It would wipe out everything I own."

Lust can lead to adultery/covetousness, two of the mortal sins.

Exodus 20:14, 17  "Do not commit adultery. . . Do not covet your neighbor’s house. Do not covet your neighbor’s wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else your neighbor owns,"

Matthew 5:28, "But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust in his eye has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

1 Thessalonians 4:7-8, "God has called us to be holy, not to live impure lives. Anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human rules but is rejecting God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you."

An excerpt from heaven and hell, 1,000 to 1

“I also saw people who had their heads hacked off by a very sharp saw. I asked the angel, “What did these people do to deserve such awful torment?” The angel replied, “Their brains were given by God to think good and beneficial things. But these people had thought of filthy things. They thought of lustful things. (Matt 5:28)
